Q: brake system in the new 2007 toyota yaris hatchback?
Does anyone who own a 2007 toyota yaris hatchback feel a small vibration as the brake pedal is pressed down while driving to slow down, like if there is something loose? I have nevel felt that in other cars so I am wondering if that is normal or I need to take it to get checked.

A: Have you ever driven a late model car before this? If you haven't its probably the abs pulsating though the brake pedal, making sure you dont lockup your wheels under hard braking. If you know what I'm talking about and that isn't it, then maybe you should either take it to a trusty mechanic or dealer or listen to someone else's more technical response. Good luck!

My boyfriend & I are wanting to buy a new car. A few people have told me about the 07' Yaris. Everything sounded good. I have also seen some comercials. Q: I have a 2007 Toyota Yaris and I crashed the front bumper?
You know those things that go on the back of trucks to anchor the trailers. Well that went through the front of my car. Going at about 5-10 miles an hour, but it made a hole in my car and made the front bumper go a little crooked. How much do you think that'll cost me to repair?

A: Just be glad you lived after hitting a truck with a Yaris at any speed. Dealer body shop quote will be the highest. Get that first and shop around from there. Being an '07, you want genuine Toyota parts. Not aftermarket junk.

Q: What do you think about the 2007 Toyota Yaris sedan?
I bought one a few months ago and I really love it! I drive 75 miles round trip each day to work, and I have recently gone just over the 5000 mile mark, and have had one oil change. I am going to Florida in it (long trip) in a couple of days, and I was just wondering if anyone else who owns one has had any troubles out of theirs yet? The owner's manual says change the oil every 5000 miles, but I do mine around 3000. I didn't say I waited until 5000 to have the oil changed, just that I had it changed! I know that maintainence is the key factor to keeping the engine up!

A: well... as long as its from TOYOTA... its great! also... ever since the yaris saw light around 1998... it has been 1 of the best economic & spacious & cool looking cars around in its class of cars (not 2 mention the great performance)... i'm thinking of getting myself 1 also in the next few months... :)

Q: 2007 Toyota Yaris, 8k miles, air conditioner has stopped working?
Bought this car 9 months ago and today the AC has stopped working. It blows air, but its not very cool, nowhere close to what it would need to cool down the passenger cabin. What are the possible causes of this after such a short time period? Where is the famed Toyota reliability? William: obviously you are illiterate. I'm not complaining, I'm asking a question as to the possible causes, and the part about the reliability is rhetorical. I'm not planning on taking apart anything. I've checked the fuses, and read the manual. It has just ceased to cool the air. No leaks. Everybody here has missed the point. I realize I have a warranty, I realize I'm taking it to the dealer, I was only asking about causes. But, since everyone here is incapable of answering that question and prefers to re-state the obvious, thanks for nothing. Last time I use this site. Instead of answers.yahoo.com it should be called a-holes.yahoo.com. Or maybe illiterate.yahoo.com. You people are pathetic.

A: I have an '06 Corolla and had a similar problem. Vents open, blower on, temp set to 50% cold, only it wasn't getting cold....then I realized that I forgot to press the "AC" button to turn the system on. ...so is it possible you might have forgotten to press the AC button? If that isn't the case, it is most likely a refrigerant leak in one of the hoses. All it takes is a microscopic pinhole to cause this sort of problem. The leak can also be from a malfunctioned part in the A/C system, probably the coil or compressor. In the case of the A/C system, Toyota does not make those parts so they have to rely on the supplier to provide quality parts.

Q: I need to know what fuse controls trunk light and power outlet at console area of my 2007 Toyota Yaris.?
The panel box lid from the engine area is vague and very nonspecific. We know a fuse is blown, the bulb in the trunk is fine, however, the outlet the bulb goes into has no voltage and no voltage is coming from the car's interior power adapter located near console. All things considered, obviously it may be a blown fuse. Can figure out from nutty panel which fuse controls it, also the other fuse box under left dash of car has NO labels at all! Please HELP, ASAP! Thanks so much!

A: Did you look in the ownwers manual ? I would just take it back to the dealer for their wonderfull warranty and service. Should only take a day or 2 to change the fuse .

Q: What does it mean when the battery light goes on, on my 2007 Toyota Yaris?
The battery light just started coming on. It doesn't come on right away, it takes a minute once the car has been started??

A: get your alternator checked

Q: how to reset the maintenance req light in a toyota yaris 2007?
i would like to know how to reset the maintenance requirements light of a toyota yaris 2007. every 5, 000 miles this light will activate. i would like to know how to reset it , so i turn on again when the car reach the 10,000 miles.

A: on my wife 06 corolla, the following happens. put key inginition, hold the trip odometer button ( not on trip a or b, but on cars total mileage) turn car to on position but do not start, while still holding odometer reset. there should be a series of bars which gets smaller and dissappere. done it was buried somewheres in manual

Q: I want to buy a 2007 Toyota Yaris. How much will the payments be?
also i'll be trading in a 1998 Saturn SL2, with minor interior damage and a broken fender. the dealer said he'd give me $1500 for it. lol its a 1998! i own my saturn...duh

A: Here's a good rule of thumb to follow. I used to sell cars and this is how you could rough a payment to customers on the lot if need be. Take the sticker of the car, deduct your trade, Look at the balance, Move the decimal over two places, multiply by 2 and add $20. That will give you a very rough and usually higher than normal payment. But at least you will have an idea. EXAMPLE: $15000.00 sticker -$1500 Trade =$13500.00 Move decimal left two spaces and multiply by 2. 135.00 X 2 = 270.00 add $20 Gives you a range of: $280 to $290. Your payment may be lower if your credit is good but like I said it gives you a rough range without a calculator when shopping. There are websites that will calculate exact payments for you if you know your finance rate. Hope this helps.

Q: Where can I buy a 2007 Toyota Yaris front bumper for the hatchback?
My roomate wrecked the front bumper and I'll looking to buy a replacement and trying to stay away from the dealership..Any ideas???? I'm trying to make it cheap as possible for him without having to use my insurance

A: you maybe able to try a junk yard, but with th car being a 2007 that might be impossible to find.. You may be able to find out if a different make and model will fit your car.. try calling an auto body shop and ask them...but the best bet is either junk yard or the dealership..

Q: My 2007 Toyota Yaris struggles to turn on when its cold or when its raining, anybody know why? ?
Lately my car has been struggling to turn on when its cold or if it rains. Someone told me it could be the type of oil im using ( but I always take it to the dealership for oil change) or it could be i need a new battery.I dont understand why, my car only has about 30,000 miles and i always take it in for its regular maint.

A: Totally not typical for a car from Toyota or when we consider mileage. Oil will not be a factor. Very cold weather will always have an affect, usually slowing cranking. You car is designed to start evey time you turn the key. I would suggest you get in touch with your service adviser as the car is still under warranty. I would suggest you review starting procedures outlined in your owner's manual as well. I'm sure you know this but never touch the gas pedal during start up either, right? Your vehicle is fuel injected and is able to start without fuel inputs from your foot.

Q: Customizing 2007 toyota Yaris hatchback?
Hello i have a 2007 toyota yaris liftback and i was wondering if anybody knows of a good site i can go to find other people who customize thier yaris's with different features? Also anyone know of any place or how i would be able to install automatic locks and windows on my yaris (dumb dad didn't get the power package) along with a good alarm? but looking for a place that is legite and not shady at all. Thank You

A: Try Andy's Autosport. They have all kinds of things. The Yaris engine is very weak, and not much can be done for that. They are made for gas mileage, not customization or performance. For a lot cheaper you have got a twin turbo Mitsubishi 3000GT or Nissan 300zx. But yeah anyway the website is : www.andysautosport.com I have dealt witht them before and they are very good. They ship quick and carry good products. Good luck.
