Q: how do I make the check engine light go out on a 2006 toyota tundra?
The check engine light came on @ 7500 miles so I know that this was for regular service.

Q: Instructions for 2006 Toyota Tundra D-Cab keyless entry?
Does anyone have the instructions for a 2006 Toyota Tundra D-Cab keyless entry remote, I can't get it to work with the instructions that came with the remote. Do I need to take it to a dealer?
A: If the keyless is not working and you recieved the keyless remotes with the truck and they were working before there are one of three things wrong. 1- the battery is dead in the remote and you need to replace it. 2- the remote was damaged from water or shock ... i.e. if you dropped the remote in water or if you stepped on it and you need to replace the remote and have the new one re-programed. 3- the remote lost its programming... you need to have the remote programmed by the dealership(bring both if you have both of them as if they need to be reprogramed they both need to be done at the same time). This can only be done at the dealership as the OBD2 port needs to be plugged into a diagnostic computer to program them. If the truck is still under the 3/36 warranty, this should not cost anything as it should be covered under warranty.

A: In these new cars there are always spare live cables for fog lights in front and rear as well. Just fit the lights, connecting cables are already there ever spare earth cable is also wired up to the switch inside, if not the body will work as earth. Check it with the meter or electric car screw drive with a clip will help you to find the right cables. It will be time consuming, do this job when you have nothing else to do, I am sure you will be through with patience.

This truck came with sealed automatic transmission, it can't be serviced either. So it's kind of a hard call, even though toyotas are really good cars I'm still a little bit worried about this matter. Please give a tip! I will appreciate it!
A: Just Because the Transmixer is "Sealed" doesn't mean you can't service it. It just means it's more difficult to "service".
Q: What kind of modifications are plausible for my 2006 Toyota Tundra 2wd sr5?
I was thinking about a dual straight tip exhaust with a X in the middle. I'm definately not using the right terminology but thats what i'm hear for. So i don't sound dumb when I go to the car shop. Also where are good places to shop for such things.
A: Midas, or any other exhaust specialty shop would be able to do it. But you'll have to get dual catalytic converters and resonators installed to be legal. But it can be done. What other mods were you looking for besides exhaust?
Q: does anyone know where the spark plugs are located in a 2006 Toyota Tundra?
I have no idea were they are located if someone could tell me or help me .... Tanx
A: On most newer vehicles, they may be right in the valve cover area, with some wierd box looking thing on top of each spot, or could be just inward, or next to intake of the engine. Hope this helps a little.

A: e bay is a good idea if you dont mind used but your best bet for toyota parts is a toyota dealer, and yes the wiring may already be there have a family member or someone you know check that knows something about cars. if they are, just buy them and give them to him like that ( save on installation), if the wiring isint there it would be cheaper to go aftermarket and have an auto accessory place install them for you.

A: Nope.......they will not fit without modifications to the suspension.

A: If you look at the back side of the headlight assy, you will see 1 small bolt about mid way of the headlight frame. I think its an 8 mm. turning that bolt will adjust the lights.

A: Toyota does not make one that I am aware of, you can put any aftermarket one you want on, just need to find the right person with the experience in turbo, also do not use more than 8psi of boost or you risk damaging the motor.
Aftermarket turbos also will compromise your warranty.
