Q: What is the suspension lift kit for a 2004 2WD Toyota Tundra.?
I drive a 2004 2WD Toyota Tundra. What is the best and most reliable "suspension lift kit" for the money? I am looking for at least a 3" lift. Front & rear. Any advice is appreciated.

A: I think this question is based purely off of popular opinion. I personally have a 2001 Dodge Ram 2500 4WD and a 2000 Toyota Tacoma 4WD and I have them both lifted with Skyjacker lift kits. The Dodge is on a 7.5 in kit, and the Toy is on a 4 in kit. I have many friends who have Skyjacker kits, and nobody has had anything bad to say. If anything does break it is easy and inexpensive to fix, and the parts last awhile. I used to live in Florida where rust is a large problem and the Skyjacker kits seemed to hold up better than any other kits to the rust and climate. I know a few people who have fabtech and tuff country kits, and all have seemed to have minor problems that shouldn't be there within the time they have had them. Pro Comp lift kits use weird contruction and completely alter the underbody. They seem to fall apart quickly, and i know a few people who have them and hate them. I have heard that Rancho is easy to install, but i dont honestly know anything else about it. This is all based off of my own personal experience and the experiences of those around me. I know for a skyjacker lift kit, 4 in, for my Toy cost roughly 1200. i spent another 1700 in tires and rims. I hope that helps!!!

Q: 2004 toyota tundra dbl cab.loud sound in front abs brakes.truck only has 13,000 miles?
i was browsing one day and found a web site that stated 2004 had serious front brake rotor problems from the factory and toyota was not owning up to the problem.i can't find the site now. i believe this may be my brake problem

A: You just answered your owned question friend. Take care of the rotors and brake pads yourself. It would be better that way anyhow.

Q: Can anybody give me or buy me some new tires for my 2004 toyota tundra so that i will be safe when i drive
I cant afford to buy them i'm in San Diego California

A: If you can't afford the tires you shouldn't have bought the truck. Which means you probably don't change the oil and do other routine maintenance as well. Quit asking for hand-outs. Grow up and get a job or even a 2nd job.

Q: how do you get the plugs out on a 2004 toyota tundra v8?

A: If your talking about spark plugs they are covered by the igniton coil. Each cylinder has its own coil, they are black with an eletrical connector going into it. With a small flat screw driver remove the eletrical connector and with a 10 socket and ratchet remove the bolt that holds the coil in place, then remove coil and you will have access to the spark plug. Do this for all remaining cylinders. good luck

Q: can you take the chrome off of the front of a 2004 toyota tundra? i like the all black look more.?

A: You can always sand down the chrome and paint it or powder coat it.

Q: Owners Manual for 2004 Toyota Tundra?

A: Having previously worked for Nissan USA and handling such requests for consumers, I'd suggest calling Toyota's Customer Service (800-331-4331) and requesting one. They may charge for the manual.

Q: 2004 Toyota Tundra.?
Has anyone else had problems with the battery draining dead sitting in the garage for 1-2 days????? AND... what did you do to resolve it? Putting in factory batteries for last 5 times, (because it's on warranty) ,should there be a re-call? Help!!! It's a beautiful truck but, only if it starts and you get to somewhere on time!

A: definately a draw in the system. u should be able to leave the truck sit for a few weeks with a new battery and not have to worry about it being undercharged

A: I am assuming automatic transmission? The capacity is about 15 quarts. If you just drain and refill the pan you'll need about 4 quarts. To be completely sure call the Service Department at your local Toyota Dealer.

Q: Why doesn't the keyless entry unlock passenger doors on an 04 Toyota Tundra?
The keyless remote for my 2004 Toyota Tundra will only beep 1 time. I can't get it to beep 2x's to unlock passenger doors. Sometimes it won't even beep once. I tried the other remote and got the same symptoms. I replaced the battery in the remotes, but it didn't solve the problem. Is there a relay or somthing that went bad?

A: take it to the dealer to check it out...its suppose to unlock all doors when you press it twice....

Q: Toyota Tundra 2004 "ABS" Sign?
What is it and how do i get rid of it?:|

A: Well, Dont quote me on this. But when my toyota tundra 2005 i do believe if i remember correctly. Anyways what happend was i slammed my brakes down because of a car in front of me and the light came on. After that the truck seemed to be holding back and i new something was wrong the brakes had been touching just a tiny bit and it soon turned in to COMEPLET LOCK UP!!! i had to drive in this parking lot to a space to park burning my tires the whole way to the nearest spot i could find!! Back to the ABS anyways the sign might be ur brakes need checked or they might be rubbing slightly not enough to notice... but u can unplug the wire to ur abs and it should turn the light off because it turns off ur anti lock brakes off... and u just have regular brakes then. till u get it looked at. i hope this helps somewhat.
