Q: Are there any manufacturers of custom headlights for a 2002 toyota tundra?
I have a 2002 Tundra. I have found many different styles of taillights but I have not found a custom headlight other than a complete white one. I am looking for an angel eye setup but am generally just interested in a different than stock look. Please post links if possible.

A: try this

Q: how to replace a blower motor in a 2002 Toyota Tundra?
Replacing the fan motor in the heater and ac I found out that a mouse or a squirrel had built a nest in my fan. How do I keep the critters out or how are they getting in?

A: its underneath your glove box, un bolt it and de tach the wires, its really easy, you can do it yourself

Q: What is the best spark plug to use for a 2002 Toyota Tundra V8?
I am currently using Platinum 4. I want to start using Pulstar, or NGK.

A: Use the original plugs the manufacturer recommends. Anything else is just a waste of money as you will see very little if any improvement . Sometimes you will see a decrease in performance. The most improvement you will see buying hot rod plugs is lightening your wallet ...........md

Q: Is it possible, to get 20MPG out of a 2002 Toyota Tundra V8?
17 to 18 is the average, I want to improve the mpg if possible.

A: The obvious solutions might include tire inflation, and a low restriction intake and exhaust. If you lower your truck's ride height, it will make the Tundra aerodynamically "cleaner". which should be a help. Another aero aid would be some sort of cover over the bed to ease wind turbulence.

Q: Can my 2002 toyota tundra tow this?
Can my step side 2002 tundra tow this boat? It is a 2000 Regal 2760 Commodore I haven't tried yet Please help me! Thanks!

A: your tundra will tow 7500 lbs... figure it out from there.

Q: how much wieght will a 2002 Toyota Tundra Limited Access Cab 4x4 carry?
Can I put a camper in the back and tow a 17 foot speed boat? Are the back seats comfortable for small kids (ages 6 and 4)? I am looking for a family vehicle for the next 2 or 3 years. My kids are 6 and 4. I am looking at 2002 Tundra Limited 4X4 Access Cab V8 Automatics. The boat is a 16 foot Glastron with a 70hp 2stroke. The camper is a fiberglass 9 ft long Bigfoot.

A: Not enough info to answer specifically. You'll have to calculate yourself. V6 or V8? automatic or standard? LTD or SR5? How much does the camper weigh? What's the tongue on the boat weigh? Here's the payload specs. http://www.new-cars.com/2002/toyota/toyota-tundra-specifications.html As for kids, yes. Only problem back there is no legroom. Small kids would be fine as long as you can buckle them in properly (some states require car seats or boosters until child reaches a certain height, so you'd have to investigate this yourself too).

Q: How would I replace the brake fluid in a 2002 Toyota Tundra, serious answers, please.?
I asked the local mechanic and he said why, I have some brake fluid that never needs to be replaced from a High Performance Catalog.

A: if you feel you need to heres how poke a small hole say pencel size in your brake fluid bottle seal if you get it to big no big deal i am assumeing you got the quart size as that works the best suck out as much from the resivor as you can but dont empty it as you dont want a bubble now turn it upside down into the brake fluid resivor it wont leak out as the air cant get into the bottle untill the fluid drops now open all the bleaders and pump the brakes watch the level on the bottle dont let it get empty as that will be bad you will need to start over and sometimes getting an air bubble out of an antilock system is hard do all 4 wheels at once to prevent back wash thaty accures when the pistons retract [its ok to do them 1 at a time for bleading but a swap of fluid you need to open all 4] watch yor wheels if you notice a lot of fluid coming out of 1 wheel and not others shut that one off continue untill your convinced its all swaped i use between 2 to 3 quarts to ensure a good flush but it can be done with 1 good luck

Q: How do I disconnect drive shaft on my 2002 Toyota Tundra so it can be flat towed?

A: http://www.toyota.com/help/faq-vehicle.html under the "Is it possible to tow my Toyota with all four wheels on the ground?" question, you'll see that you cannot dinghy tow (tow with all 4 wheels on the ground, such as behind a motorhome/RV) a 2000-2008 Tundra. You'll find this towing information in your Owner's Manual, as well (see the "in case of an emergency" section for towing instructions). Your best bet is to look into renting/purchasing a towing dolly to keep the drive wheels off of the ground. (You'd also be putting wear on the dolly's wheels, rather than on your Tundra's wheels/axle when towing.)

Q: 2002 toyota tundra will not start?
My toyota tundra will not start,Ijust used it yesterday, did not leave any thing on overnight.

A: you could have a loose battery connection. or possibly a dead battery have you tried giving it a jump?

Q: I have a 2002 Toyota tundra and i here a roar when i drive. Have checked every thing to check any ideas ?

A: Do you feel a vibration through the floor board at your feet? For some reason, when the rear wheel bearings fail on these and Sequoias, it feels JUST like the front wheel bearings are going bad. I have seen a number just like that. The best way to find it is with a stethescope with the truck in the air and idling in gear. Hope this helps. God Bless!

Q: 2002 Toyota Tundra Rear Window Latch?
I have a 2002 Toyota pick up. It has a rear sliding window with a plastic latch, which locks them together in the middle. The latch is broken...Any idea where to get one ? Please help, my dog chewed it off and my boyfriend is not pleased!

A: Your best option is your local Toyota dealer. They should have one in stock. If not, they can order one for you. Shouldn't cost more than $20.

Q: 2002 Toyota Tundra Check Engine Light On - Code P1135?
The check engine light came on in my 2002 Toyota Tundra pick-up truck. It has the 3.4L V6 engine. It has over 100,000 miles on it. On the advice of a friend I took it to Auto Zone for a free diagnostic check. The error code retrieved from the check is: P1135 Air/Fuel sensor heater circuit response (bank 1 sensor1). What is wrong? Can I fix this myself? Serious answers please. We live on a fixed income. That means we have to live on what we have left after we: Fix the car, Fix the Washing Machine, Fix the Lawn Mower, etc.

A: Sweet I Know this one!! It would be your o2 sensor. Bank one sensor one is the upstream sensor.... Pre cat.... The sensors simply screw in one side and plug into the other. Dont buy a universal o2 sensor.... There may be wiring involved, spend the extra bucks and by an OE sensor. Happy fixing. PS since it upstream not down stream your pretty safe knowing its the sensor, Had it been an error in the downstream sensor it may have been the cat.

Q: will the radio from a 2005 toyota tundra work in a 2002 toyota sequoia?

A: if both are a amplified system , just switch brackets.

Q: when should i replace the timing belt on my 2002 toyota tundra?????????//?

A: It is reccomended at 90k on the 2UZ-FE V8 and i reccomend replacing the water pump as well when you do the belt beacuse if the belt brakes on that motor it crashes valves

Q: 2002 toyota tundra engine check code po442?
is this an easy fix or expensive fix??? thanks dave

A: PO442 is an Evaporation Emission leak. It's probably a loose gas cap. The fix would be $96.00 at our dealership, since your truck is out of warranty. You may be able to get it fixed cheaper, but you'll be charged a diagnostic fee.
