Q: What can I expect for gas mileage from a 2000 Toyota Tundra?
I have heard of all the full sized pickups, that Toyota is the worst when it comes to gas mileage. Things may be better now, but the year I'm looking to buy is a 2000 or 2001.

A: It depends if its a 4 wheel drive or a 2 wheel drive. Also If its a maneul or a automatic. If you have a 2 wheel drive manuel you will get 16 city 19 highway. But if you have a 4 wheel drive manual you get 15 city 18 highway. click on the link below to enter your details beens i dont know them. A: Typically, the enclosure is designed around the sub. You'll have to pour in some research to find a sub that's best suited for the type/size enclosure you have.

Q: Where is the fuse for the radio in a 2000 Toyota Tundra?
so what happened was, somebody stuck one of those portable tv antennas up in the light in the ceiling. and now the radio wont work, and none of the lights inside will work. i think its just a blown fuse but i tried all of the ones in the dash (that little space below and to the left of the steering wheel) and it didnt fix anything. if you could tell me how to fix this, it would really be great.

A: Before it breaks. Seriously, it's in your owners manual under maintenance. Usually around 75k miles, but check to be sure.

JUst started all of a sudden while driving.
A: The flashing light is from the engine missing. You will have misfire codes. An engine misfire is the only code that makes the light actually flash because you can melt down the catylitic convertor quick.
It will only flash while the engine is actually misfiring. If the engine starts running smoothly again then the light will stop flashing but stay on with the codes stored.
You may need a tune-up, a fuel injector or have engine mechanical problems like a sticking/burnt valve or loss of compression.
Don't drive it or you will be buying a new cat. too.
That would be P0420.

A: If you are speaking of a Toyota seat - - if that model was originally sold with a Captain's seat as an option then, yes, it can. If you are going to install an after-market seat you'll have to measure carefully and make sure you have mounting hardware that will fit.
Q: I have a 2000 Toyota Tundra with 160k miles?
It has a grinding sound when it idles when u rev it up it quits. Ive replaced the timming belt and water pump. Can the flywheel crack? It almost sounds like its in the transmission but drives and runs fine other than the grinding sound? Any ideas???

A: I think your problem is the actuator.

A: the stereo is bolted in, first you have to remove the trim from the outside. Toyota is famous for hiding screws. I think the only screws in the radio bezel are behind the 3 climate controll knobs. I could be wrong though.. check the vents if there are any in the trim around the radio.
Other than that, the entire front trim just pops off if you pry it gently.

A: The rheostat is partially burnt out. The rheostat is a variable resistor that varies the current to the fan and thus it's speed. They usually have 3 or 4 settings to give 3 or 4 speeds. What has happened with yours is you only have the last part left so it will only run at full speed. Jules. Australia. Mechanic.

A: Is it a v6 or v8. V6's could either be a plug wire or coil pack.

A: Not with any kind of stock parts.
You could get adapters that bolt to your existing 6-lug axles and have 8 wheel lugs sticking out the other side, which you'd then bolt your 8-lug wheels to. The adapters are going to be ~1.5" thick each, so factor that into the wheel backspacing or you'll end up 3" wider both front and rear.
Expect to spend about $250 for a set of four. Personally, I'd just sell the 8-lug wheels on craigslist and find some 6-lug wheels that fit.

What part needs to be replaced. Is it my power window regulator, or my power window motor? Any suggestions?
If I can I would do the work myself. I can get a used window motor for $100, instead of what they charge at the delaer plus labor.
A: it could be signs of a worn out motor or it could be that the tract that the window is on maybe deformed somehow. My car had the same problem, it was because the window was not aligning properly with the frame of the door. If you check the alignment and see if there is a stress point or something preventing it from rolling up first. Its a free check and might solve your problem without spending money on regulators or motors.
