A: with parts and labor all included you would be looking at about,300-450 for labor and all,and that's with replacing it with good parts also, cheaper ones can be bought but are not recommended for this job, this one job you don't want to have done twice, good luck on it.

Q: How do you remove the window crank on a 1995 toyota tacoma?

A: If you look in the "HELP" sections of most auto chains you will see a lot of misc items for autos, such as crank handles, splice tubs, grommets etc.. You should also a removal tool for a crank handle it is about $5. It is very easy to use but it takes trial and error to figure it out. Basically turn the crank handle until you can position the tool behind the 2 legs of the me metal clip, with a drop cloth under the door and your hand under the handle to catch the clip just push the tool until the clip falls out. re-installation is even easier, just put the clip back in the crank where the eye hole lines up in the center, then take the crank position is on the gear and pop it in. Good luck.

Q: 1995 Toyota Tacoma Problem with brights?
Hello, I was hoping someone could help me with a headlight problem. My dims work fine but my headlights go dark when I switch to brights (push lever out), however, I am able to flash my brights fine (pull lever towards). Does anyone know what this could be? I have tried changing the lights and checked all the fuses with no luck. Thanks in advance.

A: It could be 1 of 3 possibilities. First is the high beam relay. Under the hood, inside the main power box you will find a series of relays. The inside cover of the box will direct you to the right one. Pull out the headlight relay and the high beam relay and switch them. If the headlights do not come on, replace the defective relay. The second is the switch itself. Remove the steering column covers to expose the multi-switch and spray the inside of the switch with a good quality electrical contact cleaner. You can find this at your local hardware or electronics shop. If that works, start saving your yens to get a new multi-switch. Cleaning it usually lasts about a month. The last possibility is the wiring between the switch and the relay. This is very rare since Toyota has a good wiring system. At this point, I would bet my money on the switch itself.

Q: Does anyone know where to find the gas door lock for a 1995-2004 Toyota Tacoma?
Yeah, really specific, I know. :-) Someone tried to break into my gas tank, and pretty much ruined the lock in the process. The use of the damaged lock led to damage to the gas door itself. While I can fix the gas door, the lock is a different story, and I really don't want to go without a gas door. I've been scouring the internet for locks, but I just don't seem to be getting anywhere. If you have any info, let me know. Thanks!

A: Take a run to your local Toyota dealership, I am sure they will have what you need.

Q: what is an "ignition coil pack" on a 1995 toyota tacoma?
I have a 1995 toyota tacoma with the 3.4 liter V6 and a couple weeks ago it started misfiring. I replaced the spark plugs and wires but now its running alot worse than it did before i bought the new equipment! I talked to a service tech and he told me that i need this ignition coil pack that will replace the one that is causing cylinder 4 to misfire. I got some price quotes on them but they are pretty costly! Is there any possible way that i can take it apart and see whats wrong with it or am i going to have to bite the bullet and shell out 70 dollars for a new one? Any answer would be greatly appreciated because my gas mileage is horrible now and from what i hear, if i keep driving it in the condition its in i could end up burning up the catalyic converter

A: Yes, you are correct, miss-fires will destroy your cat. Coil packs are not serviceable period. My question is if one cylinder is miss firing, what about the adjoining cylinder(coil packs fire two cylinders at a time, one at ignition, the other as a wast) This alternates between the two, through the ignition module or main computer (ECM) I think you have a spark plug gap problem or something to due with the secondary ignition system, not the coil pack. Check into this!

Q: What does a cylinder misfire mean on a 1995 toyota tacoma V6?
I have a 1995 toyota tacoma V6 and a couple hours ago the check engine light came on. I take it to autozone and they run a OBD-1 check on it and it turns out that it had a cylinder misfire on the 4th cylinder. I have no idea what that means but i have noticed that the truck has a problem with acceleration because it dogs a little out at around 2500-3000 RPMS. Any answer would be greatly appreciated because i really dont want to have costly repairs. Thanks.

A: spark plug and plug wire would be the first thing to check. real easy.

Q: I have a 1995 Toyota Tacoma extra cab and I am shopping for ATVs. What size ATV will easily load and unload in

A: Better go ahead and invest in a trailer if you want anything of decent size, no matter what you get you're gonna have to drive over the fender wells to load/unload it.

Q: Anyone's ideas about replacing brakes, clutch & tires on a 1995 Toyota Tacoma w/204K miles. Make sense?

A: If the body is not rotting off the fram and truck runs good, you won't be able to replace it for the same money and even if did you would have things to worry about on the next truck. Unless of course you bought a four year old or newer one with low miles, then you would have a somewhat problem free one. If you like the truck fix, what's it like $400 for tires, $600 for brakes, and $800 for a clutch?

Q: how do I bleed my brakes on my 1995 toyota tacoma

A: stab your break line with a make shift shiv that you made out in the yard during rec hour?

Q: why does the brake pedal on my 1995 toyota tacoma go all the way down when I press on it

A: Because you're out of hydraulic fluid from a leaky brake system. DO NOT drive it until you have it repaired. With that condition the brakes WILL NOT stop the car and you're headed for a wreck. Note that I didn't say accident. If you drive it, knowing about the bad brakes, it WON'T be accidental when you hit something.

Q: where can i find a 1995 toyota tacoma 2.7 liter engine?
