A: Not possible for a street toyota.

A: anywhere between 600-800WHP. Do not try it through! I Highly recommend that you used forged internals, like pistons and rods. Then go and have your heads flowed and test them. Get them ported and put in better valves etc...
Then go with a single Turbo setup, but with a bigger turbo, but make sure you have the right fuel injectors (700-1200min), or like the other guy said, you will choke the motor and the have a detonation, not a good thing. Talk a pro builder and ask them. GO TO www.toyotanation.com!!!

All the 4th gen supra's have the 2JZ engine, either 2JZ-GTE (turbo) or 2JZ-GE (non-turbo)
You don't need an engine swap, this is one of the best preformance engines built. EVER. Upgrading your turbo, fuel and intercooler will get you more power, but if you're just looking for a low-bad-ass sounding exhaust, try having an exhaust cutout installed.

yes, i know i can buy a supra online and do it up, but its not the same, cumon ppl, im trying to set up a new challenge for me...if I build it i can change a couple parts/layout as i go, less cost there...

A: I'm a little puzzled as to why you'd want to try this, as it will turn out to be a bit more expensive than starting with a Supra. Many parts do have aftermarket equivalents, but some key items - including the engine block, cylinder head, and the basic unibody "tub" - were only sold in complete cars or as factory replacement parts. You could build the body from handformed steel if you're up for a REAL challenge.

It's a 1996 Toyota Corolla.
A: Possibly, but why bother? Corolla's are front wheel drive, supra's are rear. It would require TONS of modifications, not to mention the cost of the motor and trans. And you'd still be driving a corolla. A celica engine would be a better bet, but just buying a celica would be much better.

Q: 93-98 Supra Turbo question about emission testing?
I found a 1997 Toyota Supra Turbo with 50000 miles on it for $35000. The car is stock and I know that in the year 1996 the Supra Turbo 6sp stopped because of emission issues. So i was wondering if a stock Supra Turbo with 50000 miles will give me trouble when I take the emission test. Also if I find a Supra with mods already on it what are the chances of it failing the emission test?
A: A lot of your answer depends on where you are as far as the current mods are concerned. As far as a stock car passing, they didn't have problems with the ones they produced passing, they just didn't want to compromise performance, etc in order to meet the future standards. The car will only have to meet the standards for its own production year. In my state, for 93-95 that means it only has to appear stock and appear to work. At least, the emission controls have to appear stock...you can modify whatever you want as long as they still appear to work. From 96 up it still has to appear stock but also has to pass an OBDII inspection, so that could be more difficult. So, to sum up, depends on the year and your area.

A: PROS: No clutch, no need to shift and you have one hand free to do whatever else you want.......
CONS: Less power, less control of your vehicle, no feeling to the drive of the car and there is a whole lot more. but im not going to waste your time.... just know there are more CONS then Pros for auto instead of manual especialy on a car like the supra even without a turbo... oh another thing the car is not as responsive in auto guise like the manual.
Q: Toyota Supra MK4 TT?
Can someone specify the specs for me of the mk4 supra of the non turbo and also twin turbo. In about 2 months I will be on the market of looking for a mk4 supra, in which I want the twin turbo, I have been quoted for a loan around 24k and I know that in so having if im lucky I cant get one with some decent mileage on it. Im 21 years old and am prepared to pay including insurance $900 monthly. If im not able to find a TT can I just get the NON TURBO and then converge the 2jzgte swap, if upon doing that it wouldnt be any time soon other then 3 years from now. I know that engine is one of the best but how many miles can the supra engine last on? I would really hate to get the NA-Turbo but I need a vehicle plus+ me and my wife are only sharing one vehicle to get around at this time. But I really want the TT supra, I have been looking at pics and vids of it since 1996. I HATE THE FAST AND FURIOUS FOR MAKING THERE VALUE GROW LOL. I have once when I was 14 and once when I was 21. When I was 14,it was during the summer and I went out with my cousins(who were all 18+) and just went drag the strip and hung out in parking lots. One night it was a 2am on a Friday mornnig. The cops did their usual routine and broke up the crowd and told us we had to move on. So we got into my cousins car and he took off until some genious jumped on top of the car,yelling "I need a ride!" So the cop stops us and tells everyone that he needs to see everyone's ID. I'm 14 and have no ID,so I tell the cop that my ID was in the car. He tell me to go get it,and I get to the car,then just start running like my life depended on it. I took off my shirt and threw it on the ground(I had a white T-shirt underneath) and took off my hat as well. I ran back to my cousins house,which was like 6 miles away,and everytime i saw a car or some lights,I jumped into a ditch or hid behind a tree. I made it back and my cousin and everyone was laughing because they said the cop asked them who I was,and they all said that they didnt know me,so the cops never went look for me.
When I was 21,I just bought a car,had it all tricked out,and went uptown,racing everyone in sight.All of a sudden,a cop turns on his lights and I freaked and just sped up. I got on the highway doing over 100mph and I looked back and the cop ended up wrecking. I didnt have any tags on my car because it was brand new and all I had was the temporary tag on the back of my window that fell down because it wasnt taped well. So all they knew was I had a 1996 Toyota Supra. I traded it in the very next day :( and was never caught

he recently got a really nice mustang for his bday and ever since he thinks hes invincible in it and hes obsessed with it. the other day he ran through a stop sign and a cop was there and he told him to pull over. like an idiot he decided to run (for running a stop sign???) and he sped through some neighborhoods and then like sees that this random dudes garage is open so he just pulls into it and the cops follow him and then they tell him to get on the ground and that whole routine. he said he was like saying, "omg ive never done this before im so scared right now im sorry." to the cops. now if he gets in trouble again he goes to juve.
