Q: 1993 Toyota Supra - How To Import The Toyota Supra MK3 | MK4 From Japan To Canada?
Looking for specifications & price of the JDM 1993 (MK3 / MK4) Toyota Supra and where I can get the model Supra for sale.

A: Did you know that the Toyota Supra was used in the Vin Diesel - Paul Walker movie 'The Fast And The Furious'? It's the same popularity that makes the 1993 Supra one of the most sought-after cars at Japanese car auctions and private dealerships across Canada and the USA. Specs wise it's an awesome, powerful sports car with a 2997cc engine, 6-speed manual / 4-speed automatic transmission and a 0–60 mph pick up in just 4.6 seconds (the turbocharged variant). The MK4 Supra's twin turbos operate in sequential mode with ceramic blades for the Japanese market and steel blades for USA / UK markets. JDM Dealer stocks in Canada and Yahoo Auction in Japan are two well-known options to import the 1993 Toyota Supra to Canada. But if you're importing for the first time, you need facts before you head into this arena. It can be highly profitable if you're looking to resell, but also a little daunting given the uniqueness of the method. My personal choice therefore is not a company-owned auction site but two complementary sites created by an import professional: 1. How To Import a Japanese Car http://JapaneseCarImport.pinurl.com 2. How To Import Japanese Car Parts http://JapaneseCarParts.pinurl.com The guy's a recognized expert who works in freight handling as his day job and has years of experience importing Japanese cars to 4 different countries - Australia, Canada, USA and UK. His sites feature tons of inside info on how to import Japanese cars and car parts for cheap (including the 1993 Supra), backed by a 1000's of active members connected to up-to-the-minute auction feeds. Give it a shot. These are the exact sites that helped me import a Toyota Soarer to Toronto for just over $3,000 Canadian (bid price).

Q: how can you make a 1993-1998 toyota SUPRA FASTER?????????
all modifications ideas are welcomed. but remember that my supra is a 1995 naturally aspirated version. it does not have the twin turbo. thanks a lot!!!

A: First off prise off the yoter symble; just joking. You might try a turbo and or exaust. Cold air intake makes a world of diffrence. Also try putting a tuner chip on it, makes your engine work better and alows you to moniter and change settings to get the best performance out of your yoter. Have fun.

Q: can i change the 5spd manual transmission to a 6spd on a toyota supra (1993-1998)?
if so, could i put a 2jz-det engine?

A: The only reason I would put a 6-speed on an n/a Supra would be because I am swapping the engine for the 2JZGTE, which would require it. Other than that, it would be much cheaper, and easier to just supercharge (/turbo) your existing 2JZ. While the stock internals on the turbo engine are stronger than the n/a, unless you're getting into serious racing your engine & transmission won't need to be equipped to handle that kind of power. If you just want a quick car, a few aftermarket bolt-ons like supercharger, intercooler, intake, exhaust could easily bring you to over 300 hp.

Q: with a 1993-1997 toyota supra what fuel/gas is needed?
i am useing this car for speed and performance what is the best fuel/gas. where can i get it? how much does it cost? is it available in all of the usa? by the way what do u think i should make my first upgrade to be if i was going to street race. (this is a twin turbo engine and i need tips on my first upgrade.)

A: Oy, you got some terrible answers. You need to run the high octane just for daily driving. You can get additives to boost the octane over 100 when you are racing. Find this at any performance shop. Always start with tires and rims. If you have the money get the lightest, strongest rims that will fit. Coil-overs, strut tower braces, and cross-drilled rotors are good if you are actually racing not just drag racing. That engine has all the power you need, just get a laptop and a plug into the ECU, and a programmable ECU, and you will be able to tune your boost/mix/timing for the conditions (temp and altitude) that you are racing in. The only shortcoming of that car is that it is a little heavy, so anything you can do to reduce weight will help. Congratulation on getting a modern classic. The MkIV Supra is a truly incredible car. It is very strong, you can really go nuts with it. Muncle Tom "that car also weighs alot almost twice as much as a honda civic" That's comparing an GTO to a Grand Am, an E55 AMG to c230, a GT500 to a Focus. That aint even the same fvcking sport.

Q: if i buy i non turbo toyota supra can i change the engine to a twin turbo???
i have always wanted a toyota supra.i just recently started looking into them and i was wondering if it is possible to buy a 1993-1997 toyota supra (non-turbo) and totaly rebuild it with a twin-turbo engine. if not eny suggestions?? and if i was going to race is a supra the best car for a drag race?

A: Yes, you can add aftermarket turbos. I don't know that much about the Supra specifically so I can't tell you where to look to get one, but a turbo is not something that needs to come with the engine.

Q: 1993 twin turbo toyota supra vs. 1993 ford mustang?
which would you perfer to have and which do you think is better

A: as a strait out stomper like a mile strait away the stang but off the line the twin turbo supra pwns a 5.slo pustang in a qtr mile and anything with turns. I love Ford but I gotta admit weight to power ratio cannot be ignored. Supra is what id race with out of the two
