Q: How to fix the cd player for 2007 Toyota Sienna?
I have a Toyota Sienna 2007 Minivan......the cd player of that car isn't working and when ever i try to load or eject the cd player it dosen't work after a second or 2 it says Error 3......eventhought i have try unpluging the battery it still dosen't work....i don't want to take the car to Toyota Dealers is there a way that i can fix that plz let me knw........

A: Well if you cant load or unload the player there will be no way to clean it.
You have a CD jammed in the player, If you use home made or burnt CD's they often get jammed in the bands.
Is your van still in warranty period? (3 years or 36,000 miles) If so it would still be under factory warranty. If not you will need to take it in for repair. It is a class 3 laser unit so its not something just anyone can open up to look at.

A: it has to be done at the dealership with the Toyota techstream computer...thats the only way
Q: How do I chabnge the oil in my 2007 Toyota Sienna Van?
I cannot find the oil capacity of my van in the manual. I drained the oil and measured how much drained out. Then I put that much new oil back in but it didn't show on the dip stick. I added another 1 & 1/2 qts. but I am still not sure exactly what the engine oil capacity is.
A: The new Sienna has a cartrage filter inside the aluminum housing,
the capasity is 6 1/2 qts with a filter change.
Q: Should I buy the extended warranty on a 2007 Toyota Sienna?
I would like to know everyones opinion on this. We are picking up the van tomorrow. The finance manager has been trying to talk my sister into getting it. It already has a 3/36 on it. I tried to tell my sister that they saw her coming and that she really doesnt need it. He told her she would go through her warranty in a year. Am I right?
A: Generally speaking extended warranties are a big profit item for dealers and not a good deal for the consumer. That's true with most products and equally true with automobiles. Toyota is well known for being a highly reliable vehicle. Don't waste your money. It's better spent on regular oil changes and tuneups which will do far more to prolong the life of your car.

I want to get my wife a remote car starter, but so far I haven't found one that will also operate the remote door opening feature. I don't want her to have to carry an additional remote on her key chain. It's big enough as it is!
A: i believe your talking about the sliding doors correct??? and yes we have no issues interfacing with them. Just make sure whatever unit you choose to install has the necessary outputs to do lock/unlock/ and 2 extra channels to integrate with the sliding doors

This is so sad...I just got my 2007 Sienna xle FOUR DAYS AGO, and today, driving on the freeway to San Francisco, I am passing a cement truck when something flies at my car and makes a jolting thunk.
After I parked, I noticed a huge gouge in the window and cracks spidering out.
Horrid.
We'll do it at the dealer, but how much is it?
Should we go through AAA or pay it ourselves?

A: It depends on what type of windshield you have. For that model/year, Toyota made 2 types of windshield. A regular heated windshield would run you about an estimated $475.00. Considering you have the XLE model, you might have the heated windshield (with deicer) type. This type runs you about $1,500.00. On top of that you have to replace the moulding that runs around the windshield which runs around $75.00. I suggest you get a quote from the dealer you bought the Sienna from and get a quote thru your insurance company. Try going aftermarket as well to shop for prices. Hope all works out for you.
Q: Does the 2007 Toyota Sienna DVD Navigation system have dual DVD screens?
I'd like to know if the DVD navigation system is just for navigating or is it also a DVD player system. Also does it have two screens, (ie one up front on the dash and one overhead for the back seats)? , and if so, are these linked so that one movie can be watched simultaneously on both screens? Also can you tell me if the back DVD screen is viewable from the middle row for little children, or do they have to sit all the way back in the 3rd row to see the screen? Any other info you can provide about the DVD options would also be appreciated. Thanks in advance!
A: The Front screen will not play DVDs that is Illegal for a screen to be in the line of sight for the driver.
You can get a DVD entertainment system that mounts to the roof for the rear seats, Which can be seen from the second row and the 3rd row. They have wireless headphones or you can play the sound over the audio system of the car.

Q: Towing with my 2007 Toyota Sienna?
My husband wants to take my van on a hunting trip and pull a trailer with a 4 wheeler and a bunch of other stuff. He would have to put a tow package on, but what about the internal components? Is it a wise decision? I don't think it's made for this kind of stuff. I really don't want him taking it.
A: Your owner's manual will tell you how much the Sienna can tow with a tow package. Be aware that a Tow Pkg is more than having a ball and hitch installed on the rear. He should look into having Toyota adding the package because it needs a heavy-duty cooling system and possibly a tranny cooler. Doing it aftermarket may affect or void the warranty.
While this can be done, I agree with you. Even if that Sienna has the All Wheel Drive system I wouldn't do it. These vans are primarily front wheel drive- so you can imagine what that transmission will go through pulling a trailer with a load. I know it's done all of the time but really, is it a good idea? Talk to the dealer about it first.

The normal tire is 32 to 35 depending oon how you like the ride, higher will give you a firmar but better MPG.
