Q: i want to buy a 2006 Toyota sienna but people are telling me to buy a Honda but which minivan is better?thanx?
i dont want an expensive lunxory van i want a plane one like a toyota sienna C.E or a honda odyssey begginers model and my family is growing so i need help which one is better?
A: Doesn't matter, they are both good cars. I'd say get what you want, there isn't really a difference in the reliability of the cars. Just don't get the older Toyota Sienna's since they have the engine under the driver seat...
To respond to the used car lot guy, bad transmissions are caused by people who do not know how take care of them. I have seen it happen on many vehicles that have never had their transmission serviced. Neither Honda or Toyota is putting Piece of Crap Ford Trans like Nissan is. So get what you want, just remember to take care of it or you'll end up going to the used car lot guy...
Q: How Good Is The Handling on A 2006 Toyota Sienna Van?
I am borrowing my mom's toyota van, I am amazed by the handling, acceleration, and responsiveness. I was able to chase a rice burner through back roads which have a posted speed limit of 35 MPH at upwards of ninety miles and hour. I was able to easily keep up behind him. I think he was amazed.
A: not bad but the Honda's steering is better.
the toyota is built for comfort not agility

I've checked my owners manual cover to cover and could only find out how to replace the glovebox cabin air filter. If anyone could help me with this, that would be great. Toyota wants to charge me $59.95 parts and labor to replace it when I can do it myself for under $15...Anyhow thanks a lot!
A: yea sienna air filters are a pain if you have never done it before, there is not enough room so move stuff around.
go with mike g said, thats the correct way to go about it.

Is there a way to change settings for Toyota Sienna 2006 model's navagation system so that one can use it while the car is moving as by default you cannot?

Q: 2006 Toyota Sienna Low Tire Pressure Light. ?
I have a 2006 Toyota Sienna and the low tire pressure light is on. How do I turn it off? So it would stop blinking.
There is the right amount of air in the tires!
A: if the tires are with the appropriate pressure, then you have one of two situations:
- If the warning light blinks once every second, the system may be malfunctioning, take the car to a dealer.
- if the warning light blinks twice every second, you need to initialize the system with the reset switch. To do so:
1. Park the vehicle at safe, apply the parking brake, stop the engine.
2. Adjust the pressure of the tires to a specified level
3. Turn the ignition on
4. Push and hold the reset switch until the low tire pressure warning light blinks three times. (the switch is to the left of the steering wheel, a black little pushing button)
Initialization is completed after driving at the speeds of 20 mph or over for about 8 hours total, when the system detects the normal tire pressure.
Q: who owns a 2006 toyota sienna ?
i was wondering becasue i just bought a 2006 toyota sienna is it reliable is it a good solid minivan?did i oick the right van? give me ur input please thanks
A: Good choice on a great van. There are two common problems with these vans...#1 loud popping noise when opening or closing driver's door...#2 rear hatch shocks get weak & won't hold open the rear hatch.Toyota is aware of these concerns & has extended the warranty on the driver's door stay & the rear hatch shocks to 100,000 miles for the sake of customer satisfaction.Remember my answer or print it & put in owner's manual...but don't forget!
Q: Can i put 17 inch wheels on my 2006 Toyota Sienna.?
It is the base model,
A: Yes! I think 18" or even 19" will fit.
It all depends on the offset and width of the wheel and the size of the tires.
check out www.tireracks.com and you should be able to see the size for your car
