Is this possible by purchasing the middle seat or by buying an entirely new 8 passenger bench? Or is there some type of after market conversion kit available?
A: yes... but you need to buy 3 seats that are original equipment from 8 seat er and throw out your 2 mid row seats

My mom wants to sell her car, but she doesn't know how much it's worth.
It's in almost perfect condition, there's a dent on the back bumper but other than that, it's fine.

Plug your zip code into there and give it a whirl, for my area it'd be around $18,000 which is totally nuts considering the car's msrp was about $22000!
I would imagine it to be a little less then that, then take off a little bit for the dent, maybe you're looking at $16,000 or so. Not bad!

Q: How do I adjust the headlights on my 2005 Toyota Sienna?
My headlights are angled a bit down at the street. I need to bring them up just a smidge. Thanks for the help!
A: If your talking about the vertical alignment, there are setting screws on the back of the headlight assy. It looks like a 1/4" head bolt with a straight slot in in it and a 3/4" wide black or grey large serrated plastic washer under the head of the bolt. If you need dimensions then do a search on "www.siennaclub.org"
Q: Accidentally filled diesel in my 2005 toyota sienna?
I had accidentally filled my 05 sienna with diesel.
Do I have to go to dealer ($500 expense) or can I siphon diesel & fill gas & use it.

I have run the vehicle for 1.5 miles. The vehicle did not died, but slowing and going in that 1.5 mile.

A: It depends how long the engine was run for, if it was run until the diesel entered the cylinders then that system will require cleaning but if it was only put into the tank without being pumped to the injectors then emptying and cleaning the tank should remove the diesel.

A: on the 2005 no but there is a open port on the back of radio that you can buy a box to connect to the radio and connect either ipod or sirius radio to. note you will have to remove the radio to connect. note it is very easy to do the box is about $120.00 you can charge the ipod fron it also and control ipod from radio over the cd player controls. I can't figure out how to get at the tail light bulb in a mini van sienna. no access panel inside? do i take off the bolts that hold the actuall plastic light?

A: there should be a button to the lower left of the steering wheel.about where your left knee would be if you ran it up to the knee bolster. press and hold in,turn on the ignition,continue to hold button in until the pressure warning light flashes.i believe three times.be sure to set air pressure before hand.also if you have one bald tire and three good ones it will continue to come on.it reads and compares thre revolutions of each wheel.if one is of count it triggers the light.if that did not get the flash push and hold button after turning on the ignition.it has been a while.good luck jb
Q: What child safety booster seat will fit comfortably in the third row, middle seat of my 2005 Toyota Sienna?
I don't want one with a 5-pt harness...I am looking for one that is simply a booster seat for an older child...they will have more leg room in the middle and have a better view of our DVD player. Thanks for any info!
A: As long as your older child can sit properly in the booster by passing the 5 step booster test http://www.carseat.org/Boosters/630.htm and is at least 4years old and 40lbs, then a booster is okay.
I would go with a High Back Booster with True Side Impact Protection. I like the Britax Parkeway http://www.specialtybaby.com/br20pabocars.html More kids are inclined to sit in them b/c of their "cool covers", but it also has the TSIP and will hold up to 60" tall and 100lbs. The Compass seats (I prefer the B510) are nice, but only hold up to 57" and 100lbs http://www.specialtybaby.com/cob5bocarsei3.html. My 3rd choice would be the Graco TurboBooster. What I don't like about it is that you can take the high back off and use it as a backless booster (only when the child outgrows it in height) it seems to be "loose" at the point where it goes together. For the price, I would lean toward the Compass. HTH!
Q: can we use dexacool coolant in a 2005 toyota sienna le van?

could we add it anyways? would it damage the engine? i only wanted to add a little because it is at low level
A: NO NO NO not Dexcool. It will eat your head gaskets, along with other important parts. I tried it and wow took it out. Even Garbage Motors cannot make it work. You can get the extended mileage from prestone, works great and not dexcool. Holy crap dexcool will really wreak total engine havoc on such a nice new toyota. I hope I have made myself clear.

A: It should be - but it will depend on your purchase date. The usual warranty is 3 year 36000 miles. There may even be a recall to address this issue, you're not the first person to complain about things rattling or coming loose on a newer toyota sienna.

What are the differences ( specifications, etc.) between a " Regular " Toyota Sienna & a Toyota Sienna CE & a Toyota Sienna LE & a Toyota Sienna XLE ?
I am looking to purchase a 2005 Toyota Sienna and would like to know what the differences are between each of the above 4 models ( " Regular " Sienna --- CE Sienna ---LE Sienna----XLE Sienna ) ?
There seems to be about a five thousand dollar difference between the Kelly Blue Book values on these various models & I wanted to know what are the differences in these models that account for this difference in price ?
A: You need a book as a LE could cost as much as a xle and vice versa. It all depends on options. Some options on XLE limited are not available on Le. Such as Run Flats. Need to pick options and price accordingly. There is no regular as CE is base model but could cost as much as a LE. Pick options you want and e-mail me and I will compare to get invoice on options for you and on what model would be cheapest to do on.
