Q: replacement tweeter for 2003 toyota sienna symphony?
I have a 2003 toyota sienna symphony (with JBL package). the factory tweeter is busted on the right and i want to replace it. i looked on crutchfield and it says no after market tweeters fit the space. the back of the broken tweeter says JBL 86160-08090 6859 RH. any ideas where i could get a replacement?

A: there's gotta be a way to make an after market tweeter fit! maybe measure it yourself and search online for those exact measurements. you've gotta be sure to check ebay: (my search only yielded 27 items) http://search.ebay.com/search/search.dll?sofocus=bs&sbrftog=1&from=R10&_trksid=m37&satitle=JBL+tweeter+&sacat=-1%26catref%3DC6&sargn=-1%26saslc%3D2&sadis=200&fpos=34203&sabfmts=1&saobfmts=insif&ftrt=1&ftrv=1&saprclo=&saprchi=&fsop=1%26fsoo%3D1&coaction=compare&copagenum=1&coentrypage=search&fgtp= if you really want a great sound system you could always buy my truck. an 02 durango with crimestopper alarm, remote start, 2000 watts of pristine surround sound with TWO DB platinum drive 12s that will knock pictures off the wall under 75k miles! :D

Is it doable to add a seat to a 7 seater 2003 toyoya sienna? And is it legal to have this type of modification in California? My van has 2 captain seat at the center. I am thinking of adding a seat over there. Additional, can I add another seat at the front roll? That would be cool if I can add 2 seats in Sienna! The 2003 model year Sienna is the previous generation.

A: the mid row is do able in notheast dealers have a kit, the capt chairs must come out and you need the chairs from 8 pass van front row is no go

Q: I have a Toyota Sienna (2003) and inserted an inverter into the cigarette lighter and it blew a fuse?
Changed the fuse (it was blown) located under the steering wheel. The cigarette lighter along with the power mirror and clock still do not work. Is there a circuit breaker that I need to change out? Or do I need to change out the condenser located near the fuses?

A: there may be more than one fuse. one in the dash and one in the engine compartment. Check in the engine compartment for bigger fuses that may have blown.

Q: Shaking in the back of Toyota Sienna (2003)?
My family took a trip in 2003 Sienna and noticed that the the seats in the back were shaking a lot. A couple of minutes later the low pressure warning light lit. My dad added more air into all 4 tires to the recommended psi and the warning light was gone. On the trip home the same thing happened with the warning light and the shaking (which never stopped even after my dad added more air). my dad checked the pressure again, and they were at the right amount. The car was just balanced a month or two ago and there's no holes in my tires, and the bolts on the tires are on tight (my dad said). Does anyone have any suggestion on what he should check? Thanks in advance.

A: Look closely at your tires, a tire shop would do best. It sounds like you have tread separation. The tire could blow out if this is the problem

Q: My 2003 toyota Sienna van's brakes were worked on. Now the brake light keeps coming on? they not on. help!
The brake light comes on and off. But since I don't have a manual I can't figure out how to make it quit doing this. My mechanic doesn't have a clue. Dah! Can someone please help. thanks!

A: On Toyotas the two most common problems with the brake light are low fluid and ebrake adjustment. Most likey the fluid is low in yours, but the ebrake could be loose enough that it is not returning to the stop properly, which makes the light stay on. But another possibility is that, if your car has VSC, ABS, and or TRAC, in certain conditions the brake light will reflect a code in the system. If both the fluid and the ebrake adjustment are OK, you need to have someone check the codes in the Skid Control Computer. That will probably need to be done at a dealer, as few independent garages have the equipment to pull codes from that computer. Hope this helps! God Bless!

Q: Which car would win, a 2006 Toyota Sienna, or a 2003 Honda Accord 2dr.?

A: the question is depending on what contest, these are results of each challenge. if it's a drag race(1/4mi); accord: 15.1sec@84mph sienna: 17.5sec@80mph if it is a 3-lap oval race (1mi track); accord: 1min59sec sienna: 2min21sec if it is a 2-lap road race(15lap-3.4mi); accord: 5min16sec sienna: 5min17.7sec if a rally on dirt(2.8mi w/bumps); accord: 1min54sec sienna: 2min11sec if a rally on snow(2.4mi); sienna: 1min59sec accord: 2min27sec if a rally on ice (2.5mi); sienna: 2min10sec accord: 2min55sec since the toyota sienna has slightly more power and much more weight than accord, ice and snow will be sienna's advantage due to more weight improves grip on slick surfaces the honda accord has better power/weight ratio than sienna, making dirt, drag and oval courses accord's advantage. the road course is a technically even match. accord takes the straights, sienna on the slow turns, and both nearly even on the fast turns. after the finish, with better acceleration, the accord would win the race by 1.7 seconds. overall in all events, the honda accord 2dr ('03) will win the complete challenge.

Q: What are common problems of Toyota Sienna?
I'm considering trading in my Honda Odyssey for a used Toyota Sienna. I'm looking into 2003-2005 Siennas. Does the Sienna have any classic problems? (i.e., my Honda Oddyssey auto doors were TERRIBLE; this was a common problem)...

A: We have owned a number of Toyota Siennas. The only problem we had was with the lower control arm bushing. The rear bushings wear out when they get to be 7-8 years old. Other than that it is the regular tire changes and brake repair when they get higher mileage. Great vehicles with low maintenance and operating costs.

Q: Where can I find a listing of the different models by year for a Toyota Sienna (ex mpg for 2002 vs 2003)?
Please provide solid references

A: www.kbb.com or www.consumerguide.com

Q: How to do the Oil Change for Toyota 2008 Sienna LE V6? Is it same as Camry 2003 LE V4 engine?
What is the difference between V6 and V4 engine Oil Change?? I have been doing the Oil change for my Camry 2003 LE V4 so if it is same and just more oil then it seems easy as I will be doing it first time in Sienna. Also, is Oil tank nob is same place as Camry 2003 LE as well as Oil Filter and require same tools to remove them?? What is the duration for the Oil Change as Toyota now recommends 5000 or every 6 months...is this OK or we should stick to 3,000 or 3 months??

A: The biggest difference is that you will buy a replacement oil filter element which will fit in the existing housing. Check out this link, your filter is going to be the same as the Avalon shown in the PDF. http://members.cox.net/n0v8or/avalon_oil_change.pdf

Q: How many more miles can the car handle?
I have a 2003 Toyota Sienna that has about 269 K miles on it and I want to know when I should I replace it? The engine runs well right now and I have been keeping up with all the services and stuff.

A: Your lucky it's a Toyota! Simply replace your timing belt and water pump, do a complete tune up, and have your valves adjusted. It will last at least another 120000 miles.
