Q: Toyota Sienna?
I'm considering buying or leasing a 2006 Toyota Sienna. Has anyone that owns one of these any opinions on the van? I lke it because of the safety ratings and I love my Toyota now. Also, any advise on leasing vs buying? Thank you! I do own a business so please keep that in mind when answering...thank you great advise so far!

A: The Sienna is a good van. I have several friends and relatives who own them that are happy. Leasing is not advised unless you have a business. Then, you have write offs.

Q: Where can I find a list of commands for the Toyota Sienna Navigation System?
I have a 2006 Toyota Sienna Limited AWD with Navigation. I am trying to use the voice commands, but cannot find any documentation on what they are. Specificially I want to switch from navigation mode (map) to phone mode to make a call and then back again. Any help/direction/guidance is much appreciated!

A: try saying the command "help" to the nav system.

Q: Where can I buy a Toyota Sienna Center Seat?
I need a front and center seat to go in 2005 Toyota Sienna. It is the seat in the middle row, in the center, between the two captain's chairs. We are having a new baby and would love to just buy the extra seat and not a new van. I would love it to be in gray leather, But would take cloth. The 04, 05, 06, 07, & 08 models all have the same seat that would fit mine. We called the dealership and they offered to order all the parts and to put it together for a small sum of $3,000.00. Have called some of the used auto parts stores and none of them have this one in particular. Any idea's on where to get one?

A: call the junkyards and see if any of them have a toyota sienna there and if so do they have the seat in it you are looking for. It might need to be cleaned a bit, but that shouldn't be too hard, and you will save a ton of money.

Q: How can I fix the ERROR 3 in toyota sienna 07 cd player?
I have toyota sienna 07 minivan and just week ago i'm getting an error 3 on my cd player when ever i try to play cd. I have try to contact the Toyota Company and they said they will charge me for that. So, if any body know how to fix that please let me know.

A: Disconnect the battery and let the car sit for a few hours. This should reset all the computers. If that doesnt work than you may need a new CD player. Check Ebay for cheap OEM ones. Q: What colors are attractive on a Toyota Sienna?
I'm in the market for a toyota sienna and love the color white, but wanted to hear from other people what other colors are attractive? I know its not too sexy driving a minivan but I have to be practical. I'm in my early 30's and a mommy of three children. Thanks.

A: Nothing wrong with minivans and YES they are PRACTICAL esp on vacations and when you need to move large items, as we ghave a SIENNA XLE <= Sable/Beige color and my wife drives HIGHLANDER 6 cylinder AWD SUV <= Metallic Blue. Any color is fine except for BLACK and please note, my wife used to drive popular EMERALD GREEN CAMRY LE Sedan and dark colors quickly show dirt... When we travel on vacations with 2 kids, the SIENNA is our 1st choice bec plenty of room for cargo, food and clothes and vacation items incl 2 Notebook PCS...plus 2nd row of seats recline so kids either sleep or watch movies on portable DVD running from XANTREX Inverter. Hope the Above Info Helps and Enjoy!

Q: How do I replace the seats in my 1998 Toyota Sienna minivan?
I have a hand-me-down minivan from my sister-in-law, a rebuilt salvage title 1998 Toyota Sienna. I have a love/hate relationship with this thing. For one, I am not the "minivan type", and also her kids really abused the interior. After about a year, I am just now getting the dog smell out! [gag] Anyway instead of getting into a car note, I have decided to make peace and try to make this van a little more lovable and I'm starting with changing out the seats. I've found an entire set of used leather seats but they are from a 2000 model. I can't seem to find any guides online that will tell me if these seats will be compatible in my 1998, and how easy or hard it would be to swap them out. Y'all?

A: You could call a local wrecking yard, they have what's called a interchange book. But the seats from the 2000 Sienna should fit the biggest difference may be in the middle seats, some have captains chairs and others have bench seat in the middle row. If both are same than they should fit with no problem. The hardest part would be replacing the front seats. they are bolted in where as the 2 rear rows are slide in/drop in lock type.

Q: Ideas on how to prevent Toyota Sienna break in?
I am looking for ideas on how to prevent my car, Toyota Sienna with factory alarm, from being broken into. Someone has gotten into my car on three separate occassions in the middle of the night. My car alarm did not sound off at any time so I suspect whoever it is might have a device to circumvent the system. Luckily, nothing was taken except for some change. I've contacted the local authorities and was not given too much help. Does anyone have any advice on how to deter or prevent these break ins? Thanks in advice.

A: Are you certain you are arming the alarm ? Many alarms require you to arm it. Contact your Toyota dealer and explain what is happening. If the alarm is being bypassed there will be signs that the dealer can see/find. Chances are the alarm is either not arming when you try to arm it or the sensitivity is set too low. The dealer can show you how to arm it if that is the problem and can increase the sensitivity if you want it increased.

Q: How much money does it cost to fill up the gas tank on a Toyota Sienna? What's the gas mileage?
I am looking into getting a 2002 Toyota Sienna w/ 90,000 miles for $8,000. Do you think that's a good deal? I am just worried that it will cost WAY too much to drive. Currently, I drive a Kia Rio & I am not used to spending more than $25 at the pump.

A: Average cost to fill a Sienna $63.00. This vehicle has a 21 gallon tank and with gas @ $3.00 per gallon you do the math. The average driver will get about 18 - 22 MPG out of a Sienna minivan. This should be enough information to let you know if it is in your price range or not. Good Luck, if you get it you will enjoy it, if you would like better Gas Mileage look into the GM vans.. typically those drivers get about 25 - 30 MPG. But you will have more repairs than with the Sienna.

Q: What year did Toyota Sienna start putting two (dual) sliding doors on their vans?
Wanting to buy an older Sienna. Wondering what was the oldest year you could buy a Toyota Sienna with dual sliding side doors. (Oh and if you know, what model XL, XLE, LE, whatever was it?) Thanks!!

A: The first generation Sienna, 98-03, will have dual power sliding doors and a power lift gate with key-less entry only with the XLE package. The trim levels in order of lowest to highest options are CE, LE, and XLE. Also the second generation Sienna 04-08 was avialible with dual power sliding doors and a power lift gate with key-less entry only with the XLE. However the second generation Sienna was so customizable that you might, although extremely rare, be able to find an LE with the dual doors feature. Good Luck

Q: Can you buy a replacement controller for the dvd player in the 2005 Toyota Sienna?
I just bought a used 2005 Toyota Sienna that has the dvd entertainment system but failed to look for the remote for it. It is nowhere to be found. Anyone know where to get one?

A: go to their web site and see if you can

Q: where can i find a replacement tweeter for 2003 toyota sienna?
I have a 2003 toyota sienna symphony (with JBL package). the factory tweeter is busted on the right and i want to replace it. i looked on crutchfield and it says no after market tweeters fit the space. the back of the broken tweeter says JBL 86160-08090 6859 RH. any ideas where i could get a replacement?

A: You could either call JBL and try to get a direct-replacement, get one through the dealer, or buy a new pair. If you replace it with a different one then what came with it (and what is on the other side of the car), it'll be screwy. Your best bet would be to get a new pair of JBL tweeters, in this case. Have Fun!
